Matthew Kelsey

Matthew Kelsey

Matt Kelsey grew up as the third-culture kid of two international teachers, meaning that the most notable feature of his upbringing was visiting the embalmed bodies of Lenin, Mao, and Ho Chi Minh. (Is there a digital badge for that?) After desultory post-undergraduate stints in ESL teaching and running a small business, he returned to Northwestern University for a Master’s of Science in Education. His international teaching career has taken him to the American School of Kuwait as a social studies teacher and the American International School of Bamako as their tech coordinator.
