Alexandra Mirkowski’s is a K-5 Elementary Computer Teacher and a Technology Integration Coach at the International Community School of Addis Ababa (ICS Addis) in Ethiopia. Alexandra has been working at ICS Addis for over 9 years and has also taught Elementary French and Video Journalism in the middle school.
Alexandra has a BA in French and Italian from Carleton University, a MA in Media Studies from the New School University, and a MS in Multidisciplinary Studies from SUNY Buffalo State. She is currently enrolled at George Mason University and working on a MEd in Curriculum & Instruction: ESL.
Alexandra Mirkowski is passionate about technology. As a Tech Coach, Alexandra finds dynamic ways to incorporate technology in the classroom to improve student learning. Her areas of interest include filmmaking, robotics, and coding with Scratch.
Alexandra enjoys living and working in Ethiopia. During her free time she enjoys traveling, making short films and playing lego with her son Giuseppe.
