A poster session at the 2013 ISTE conference. (The Learning 2.014 poster session won’t be quite so huge!)

For the first time, Learning 2.014 will offer participants a chance to present and view poster presentations. These are not polished workshops or lectures, but informal “show & share” sessions. Presenters interact with viewers in one-on-one or small group sessions as participants come and go. It’s great for informal sharing and building connections.

During the poster session, presenters will have a table and wall area to display some initiative or activity going on at their school (the standard printed poster can be supplemented with handouts, projectors & screens, laptops – even activity demonstrations) and participants will freely wander around, stopping by the displays that they’re interested in. The presenter may have one or a small number of people to talk with – and as movement is fluid, it’s not a time for a formal talk but for informal sharing.

If you are interested in submitting a poster submission proposal, please complete this form. If you have any questions, please contact the Learning 2.0 Committee if you have any questions!
